Looking Forward To a Great Group!

Hi ! I'm Elayne. I live in the NW, Summerlin area and work on the strip.

My mom and I are Chezchani. Mom does fused glass while I do beading (Peyote Stitch,) Resin, and Upcycled Drink Can Jewelry. I also make candles but that's mostly for gifts.

I shall check out (and heart) all your Etsy shops. If you have a FB fanpage let me know. Mine is http://facebook.com/chezchani.

Unfortunately due to my work schedule, I can't do craft shows. Hoping to eventually be able to work it out so I'm free occasionally on a Saturday. I really DON'T like to dust all the crafts lying around.

Thanks for your post, Chez! Craft fairs can end up being WAY more hassle than they are worth, but I've always found they are good for at least meeting other cool crafters. But now since you're part of this group, you don't have to bother with fairs to meeting other eccentric artist ;)

I love all the card themed items in your shop. And very clever to make stamps into pendants!

I like poker-related stuff 'cause of my job.

I know craft shows are a hassle but selling online doesn't make much of a dent in all the jewelry sitting around!

I wish I could still wear earrings - those are really pretty. Sometimes fairs can seem more trouble than there worth but I like talking to people and hearing the comments on my stuff. I'm waiting to hear if I got into the Candydance fair in Genoa in No. Nevada. Never done a juried fair before.

Nice to meet you. I can't/don't do the craft shows either, just not something that fits with my business. Best of luck as the new team builds.

Your flower pieces are beautiful. I tried to make just one from a pdf that I bought on etsy and it was a disaster and I gave up. Youve just inspired me to try again. Great job getting in the District. I would love to be in a childrens store one day.
