Hi! C.S. Alexis here. Just wanted to share a bit on my perspective as I search the local venues available to artists in the Las Vegas area. I hope to make posts here as I research and write about the flavor of artwork I come across. Being new to the area I am getting out and about in hopes of learning more, making friends and settling in with my Adrift Art Studio.

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a huge art and craft event in Boulder City about 20 minutes from las vegas that is called Art in the Park. The event has over 300 juried artists selling there work, along wit live entertainment and food venues. If anyone is interested the website is http://www.bouldercityhospital.org/art-in-the-park/ . This year it is October 2-3. Thanks! =]
I love going to Art in the Park as a spectator! I'd like to participate this year, but being able to swing the entry fee is a whole other ball game...
Hey Marie, I am in Boulder too (have talked to you via Facebook). You can usually cut the entry fee some by sharing a booth with someone... or get a sponsor! I know of a few places in BC who may be interested.
How do you get a sponor? And shareing a booth would be a great way to get started.
Although I was just on the website and the application deadline was april 30th.
