First Team Meeting Tomorrow!

We have about 50 team members who have RSVPed for tomorrow's meeting (full details here).  There are a few things I wanted to bring up beforehand:


A ton of people have offered to bring snacks.  I'm thinking so we get a good distribution (and if you don't already have something prepared), if you're last name is A-G, bring a sweet.  For H-N, bring a fruit, veggie or non-sweet treat and for O -Z, bring a drink of some kind (2 liters would be appreciated).

Also, space will be tight, and there are only a dozen or so chairs so if you would like to sit, please bring your own chair.  The meeting will probably last until 8:30 or 9:30, depending really on when Jaime kicks us out.

If you'd like (please, oh please do), bring a sample of what you sell for us to oggle.  Please mark your item with your name and your shop name.  The items will be displayed together on a table for us to admire.

We can also use the meeting as a chance to swap promo items.  If you would like to bring a stack of your business cards, you will probably find other team members to swap with at the meeting.  You can then include your team member's cards in your Etsy shipments.  Promo swaps generally work best between sellers with similar kinds of items so you know you're barking up the right tree with the buyers.

Anyone is welcome to come.  Kids, spouses, lawyers, manicurists, we aren't keeping anyone out.

We need to address the matter of team funds.  Until we figure out some kind of sponsor or way to generate money, we'll be running on donations.  You can make a donation at the event tomorrow and I will also create a Paypal donation button on this site.  Any amount is appreciated.  We need basic stuff like flyers, business cards, team banners and more.  I've already spent about $50 on a banner and some basic promo items but there aren't nearly enough and I'd love to get more produced.  It's all voluntary so if you can, please do, if not, no worries.  We'll be talking a lot tomorrow about ways to generate funds - I've got a lot of ideas and we'll see what everyone likes.
