First Team Event - May 25th!

Thanks to our very accomplished and generous team member, Jaime of Wooditis , we have a place to hold our first Team Event. Jaime owns and operates a workworking school in North Las Vegas and has offered space in her facility for us to meet.  This is just for those of you who are interested in meeting up, and I know there are a bunch of you in the Pahrump/Boulder City are who may not be able to swing the drive.  I'll try and have a Henderson area meeting at some point and also a meetup in Pahrump for anyone interested.  Also, for those team members not interested in physical meetings, no worries.  We'll just stalk your Etsy shop.

For our first get together, let's plan on Tuesday, May 25th at 7pm.  If possible, please bring an item you've created that represents your craft to display on a table.  Please be sure mark your item with your shop name. and we can ask questions and then just mingle, eat, swap crafty war stories and learn to adore each other.

Also, because we are not charging membership fees for this group, I'm hoping a handful of people coming would be willing to bring some sort of dessert or drink (soda, juice, whatever). We'll provide the cups and napkins. You bring enough for ten and hopefully if a few people bring treats, it'll pan out. I'm ceaselessly optimistic.

The room we are meeting in is big enough to fit all of us, however there are limited chairs.  If you would be more comfortable sitting, please bring your own camp chair to use.

Jaime's shop is located in North Las Vegas at 2267 W. Gowan, in units 106. It's a modern warehouse facility and has ample parking.  At the driveway, you will see a big red-white-and-blue "For Lease" sign, pull in there, and it's about halfway back on the right, in unit 106. Feel free to bring a friend or two if you are nervous about the rest of us turning out to be ax murderers. Actually, we are holding this in a woodworking shop so who knows what kinds of saws Jaime has or what she keeps in her woodchipper...
