She passed on this tip to me regarding a market she did in Centenial Hills:
There's another market that we did twice last year, if it's still running this is the link: www.yourfrenchmarket.comIt's in the Centennial Hills area and the beauty of it is, they provide the canopies. It's one Saturday a month. Weather can be an issue (too hot, too windy.) Anyway you might want to post the link on the blog.
I saw a couple of our team members listed on their Vendors page. Any more info on this one?

I just noticed the last event date they have listed one is November.
I wonder if they are no longer doing it. Too bad. But really Vegas weather and wind make a regular outdoor show very difficult.
I really appreciated that they provided the canopies since we don't have one. Was hoping to do it again when I could get a Saturday off.
I did a couple of these last year, and the guy running it didn't know what he was doing, IMHO. No advertising at all, not even within the market on sales day. It was a waste of my money and time.

He did seem like he had alot to learn at the beginning, was hoping it had improved. Must have spent a good deal on all the canopies too. Shame.
We covered our costs both times but not by much.
I planned on doing this last year, but decided to go see one first. it was beautiful, fancy looking, but there were not a lot of signs leading up to it and had no mention of arts and crafts at all that I saw. Parking was horrible, but I was determined,so I parked a million miles away and walked back,If I didn't want to see what it was like so bad,I would have driven away and said forget it. Not a lot of people at the market, the vendors looked bummed,so I figued it was a bad sign for me. Havn't gotten anymore e-mails about it so I'm not sure if they are still doing it.
I did the Aliante Farmer's Market a couple of summers ago - complete waste of time. Although the booth price was reasonable, I didn't nearly make back any of my costs. Most of the people wanted produce or some of the other food items - like kettlecorn or bread.
Complete bust!
Your items are so pretty!
I was at the French Market too.
I was sad to see it go.
