I have always been crafty, but life has a habit of getting in the way, so I didn't really make much stuff for a long time (10 years!!!). We moved out here, I don't have a job yet (not looking!), and so I got the itch and started making things. Gosh, I do crochet, jewelry, sewing, and whatever I might happen upon.
Honestly, it is so good to get hooked up with some fellow crafters! I can't wait for our get together at the end of May.

I grew up in Connecticut and I hear you on the cold thing. My dad used to drag us on snow themed vacations every year and I'm still cold from them. I dig this desert blazing heat! But it's not too good for craft fairs in the summer - we'll have to find some good indoor venues. Thanks for posting!
I miss the snow (a little) and definitely miss the seasons. Don't know how I keep finding myself in hotter and hotter places (FL, CA and now NV) I don't even like the desert. But I do love buffets ;-)
