Hi Everyone,
I have decided to start putting together monthly sewing circles down at my shop (Altered Nation Designs) for MadeInVegas Team members and other Vegas sewing enthusiasts! There are a couple of couches, a tv (movies!!), a cafe, art galleries, boutiques and more right in the heart of old Vegas-on Fremont! ... I think it will be a lot of fun and we can all get to know each other while crafting (we will also be doing charity projects periodically).

July 23rd 5-9:30pm
Making pillow case dresses for girls around the world (charity: Hope 4 Women International)
Please bring pillowcases, sewing supplies, elastic, trim and a smile!

Montly "Last Saturday" Sewing Circle 1-5pm
This month's is July 31st and the theme is "Tee Party" so bring some tshirts to use as the material for your sewing project

I can't make either of these events, but it sounds like a blast, and I would love to come to one.

I used to sew and was considering coming along for the 23rd as my husband is away, but I won't have a car. May try to make some arrangements but will have to let you know on this one.
