Mount Charleston Fair is Rapidly Approaching

I can' t believe that our first official fair is only about three weeks away!!! When I started organizing this event, it seemed so far in the distance. We have 42 vendors(some sharing booths) and a wide range of handmade products to offer. Flyers, postcards and signs have been distributed and hopefully posted all over town. I put everyone on the link section of the web site, so if anyone goes there, they can see what there is to offer. I plan to use the rest of the money to place two ads (the two weeks prior to the event) in the City Life publication. I kept six large signs myself and will be putting them up at the bottom of the mountain intersection, halfway up the mountain on a friend's property, and at the base of our neighborhood so that anyone coming from the lodge who missed seeing the fair when they drove past the hotel, will be aware of it. I'm also going to place flyers in the hotel and distribute them to the residents up here. I have a large banner that will be up on the hotel's front lawn on the day of the fair. If anyone can think of any other ways to advertise other than what I've mentioned, please let me know. I'm really excited!!! Not only is the first time I've organized an event, but it also the first time I've been in a crafts fair. I certainly have been a customer at many!!!!

If there is any money left in the advertising budget - How about the View Newspapers. I get the Centennial View and the Summerlin View and thats where I read about the craft fairs and events that I want to go to for the weekend.

How about press releases to the media?

I'm going to see about the Views. Maybe we can put it in the Summerlin and Green Valley ones. Roberta Walters sent info to all the local television stations. I posted on Craig's List under events. I'll send press releases closer to the event. Thanks all.

I can't find the list of the vendors that will attend. How do I find it? I can't find a links section.
