July's Red, White, & Blue Contest Submissions!

July's contest theme is Red, White, & Blue. Your entry will have to be red, white, blue, or a combination of those colors. And yes, there can be hints of another color, too, as long as red, white, or blue are the primary colors. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

All entries must be posted in the comment section below. They must be submitted by 11:59 pm on August 1st in order to be considered. Winners will be announced on August 5th.

Good luck everyone! Have fun!

Okay, I guess I am the first to post this as I already have it in my shop. I don't really know if this will count or it has to be specifically made for the contest...chirp...chirp...let me know if I qualify.

That's fine, Keona. As long as you made it and it's disgustingly patriotic, we're not picky. I do love your slouch hats! Now I've got to get working on something. I'm going to try and submit something before midnight on the deadline this time!

Chez...I love your red-white-blue earrings you made out of a pepsi can. Very smart!

Keona your slouch hat is cute as well.

Thinking...what can I come up with that is Red-White-Blue to enter this contest. I have one dish cloth made in those colors, but that's boring as an entry.

I've bought my fabric for this contest and hopefully will get it in during the next few days. Cybele - that fused bag technique is really cool! I've never heard of anyone doing that. Did you invent the process?

Thank you, Sarah! I learned how to fuse plastic from an Etsy tutorial, but came up with the "mosaic" insertion sandwiching technique via experimentation.

Here's a similar tote I ironed at the same time, with shaved crayons in between the layers:

Here is mine. A little too warm for Vegas in July, but still fun. http://www.etsy.com/listing/52396209/custom-crochet-god-bless-america-earflap

I can not find the rules. If it has to be listed in the shop, I offered it to the team but it has not been added. I can't add it to my shop and then have it added to the team -- so here is my post:
