Hello everyone, I made it to our last-minute meeting at the Toyota building in June, I also plan to attend our next meeting in a few days. I make custom fairy wings and tutu costumes for newborns through adults with wings being my passion. I have been creating wings since I was 11 years old, selling them at 12- and I ventured into online selling at 14. I've been crafting wings for 12 years now and it is my full time hobby that happens to 'pay' for my addiction to glittery and fairy-themed things! As far as a little about myself personally goes:
My name is 'Chase' and I am a stay at home mom to a 13 month old son named Alexander and I am five months pregnant with his baby sister who my husband and I have yet to agree on a name for :) We moved here from Houston last fall when my husband was stationed here in Las Vegas at Nellis AFB and so far we have enjoyed living out here in the desert. I am honored to have been invited to this wonderful group after having to leave a similar group that had just been formed back in Houston. I look forward to meeting as many other group members as I can and seeing what all everyone has to offer! I love crafts and handmade items so expect a sale or two (or twelve!!) from me! I love giving unique and special gifts, and there's nothing like something handmade to say just that!
As far as the group goes,
I know I will have my hands full for the next few months with caring for our son, and then his newborn sister, as well as Halloween which is my busiest season. I'll try to attend the meetings that I can, but I am limited on shows due to my husband's forever-changing schedule, having a toddler to take care of as well as carrying another one in my tummy. I should be able to participate more regularly once I have a routine with our two children and find a reliable sitter for them both. However, once both of them are a bit older I plan to participate in as many events as my family's schedule allows because there's nothing better than meeting new artisans, talking with clients and just having fun sharing your craft with the world. Thanks again for the invite and I look forward to our next meeting!

Welcome.
You could come up to the Mt. Charleston fair in August and see about 35 of us!
I'd really like to come to Mount Charleston but I have no one to watch our 13 month old son or help me set up/take down and I'm five months pregnant. I think I'll have to wait a year or so before I can do shows really but I want to at least visit with everyone on the big day since actually vending looks like a feat I won't be able to accomplish.
The fairs that I've done in the past have always had people who will help others set up/take down if they need it.
