First of all, because of the hot weather, ArtWalk is offering vendor tables to our group for a mere $5 through September. There is just no reason at all for you guys not to come down and enjoy a fun evening with us for that low rate. Chances are the foot traffic is still something we need to work on, but you can just relax and enjoy the company. Of course, the demo tables are still free. We will have 11 team members there today so come on down and say hello if you'd like.
Also, for our team craft party on Friday, you are welcome to bring your own project, or work on a group project. Here are a few of the group crafts and tips. Etsy is sending us some glass paint (I haven't received the box yet, but the promise it will be here by Friday) so if you'd like to bring a goblet or other pretty glass to paint at the party, please do so.
We will also have a "zines" table. I'm really into zines lately and think they are really fun to put together for anything you like to soap box about. (What is a zine? Read about them here. Or check out the two I have in my shop. They can be about anything you're passionate about). If you'd like to make a zine, start thinking about topics you could use and if you have any cut outs you'd like to bring to put in it, please do.
Also, Michele who runs Royal Icing will have a cupcake decorating station. I'm super excited about that one.
If you are wondering about what supplies you can bring, to go along with their package, Etsy suggests you bring the following items. You certainly don't have to though:
Glass from the dollar store or thrift store to use with the Pebeo glass paints
Scrap paper
Scrap fabric
Glue
Stapler
Thumbtacks
Paint brushes
Our team is also sponsoring the Kid's Craft table at the Fresh52 Opening Event this Sunday. Thanks to team member Cybele, we have a lot of recycled art projects to contribute. Anyone with extra egg cartons or bottle caps is invited to bring them to the party to contribute to our craft supplies for the art projects. We've also been asked to get together a stack of magazines that kids can cut up to make little books. If you have anything appropriate for children (let's steer away from the Cosmos), please bring them to the party. Any pop culture mags would be fantastic.
If you are interested in donating to the raffle that will be held at the craft party, please bring your raffle items along with you and give them to me when you arrive. For now, the raffle is our main source of team revenue and a fun way to chip in. We will always give away little fun things each month, as well as the main prize which is being featured on the front page of the blog for a month.
Please feel free to bring a friend with you to the party. Any crafters are welcome. Again, if you have a camp chair, please bring it. Also, anyone with extra folding tables are welcome to bring them as well. We will have approx. six different craft areas at the party.
I have a lot of drinks left from the last meeting, but if you'd like to bring a munchie to share, that would be fantastic. If not, no worries. We had way too much food at the last event so if it's a hassle for you to bring something, don't stress about it.
This is way too long. Sorry the other one disappeared!

Funny you should mention zines right when I was thinking I will put one together...then I read your post.
Long post is good when you have so much info to share, Thanks Sarah.
