Hey Team Alan aka HiddenLightPhotos again,
I am excited about the comments relating to doing a photography workshop from my previous post. I would like to do one right away and perhaps try to do them periodically as long as there is interest.
So here are the important questions...
What do you want me to cover? Just the basics?
What are your biggest problems relating to photography that I can help you address?
Let me know what your products generally are as this may seriously influence the stuff we cover. We may best have a separate session for jewelry and one for other stuff. We will see!
When is the best time to meet for you? For me it would be an Wednesday or Thursday evening, or Friday or Saturday during the day. Sound out for what works best.
For now I will be thinking of just doing it all at my home for starters, which is near Sam's Town.
I could potentially do one next week if we can figure it out. I am kind of wanting to hurry and do something in June because July is going to be pretty bad for me and if I put things off they face an uncertain fate!
So if we can nail down a time, I will provide my home as a place to cover picture taking ideas, editing basics that you can do with free stuff (if you have a computer!), and some great treats.
Thanks, and I am sorry to clog up the blog with stuff about this if your not to interested.
Also I really appreciate the kind comments on my work. That is always amazing to hear!
Have a great day and weekend!

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, But I needed some tips on taking pictures of larger items. I would like to take some pictures of my picture frames "in action" on the wall in a room, but everytime I try they come out horrible. I see other shops with nice wall shots, but I just can't get them to come out right.
Hi. I'm one of the many jewelry artists needing to do close up pix - I'm in - just say when!
I'm also one of the jewelry artist. I can do Wed or Thurs evening as long as it doesn't conflict with team mtgs or Henderson artwalk. Also available Friday, June 11 or 25 during the day.
The times you've listed would work for me as well.
I have smaller-ish items but not jewelry. Would like to take better macro shots as well.
Really would like to see a good indoor set up if you have one. Light tent, booth or whatever you have.
Thanks so much for offering this for up poor photography starved individuals, hehe.
I have jewelry and beads in my shops. I have trouble getting the color right. Purples come out blue and Reds all melt together.
I am available just about any time that works for everyone else.
