Update on Possible Mount Charleston show

The date I originally proposed is not open at the hotel. In fact, the ONLY two days they do have open are Sundays---November 21st and November 28th. One is before Thanksgiving and one is Thanksgiving weekend. The only available Saturday is December 4th. I am leary of a December date mainly because of the possibility of snow. If we get snow win November, it usually doesn't stick or close the road. Please give me some feedback on these two dates. Thanks.

I'm game for any of those days...the 21st, the 28th or the 4th.

I prefer the 28th. Remember, on the 28th, we will probably get lots of people that are here for the holidays and are in the shopping mood. On the 21st, lots of people will be getting ready for Thanksgiving and will not go out.

The trouble with that is that the closer we get to December---the greater possibility of snow!!!--RObi

In my experience Thanksgiving weekend is always good for shows because people are in a total holiday buying frenzy BUT... I don't think thats gonna work for us at Mt. charleston, it's just too far out of the way, if it was in town people could say "oh I'm gonna go to the craft show before I hit the mall" but thats just my opinion. November shows usually do really well, people are thinking about christmas gifts by then. I have never really done many December shows,so I don't know how they are. I am usually so tired after doing shows every weekend from September-November.

Sounds good. Not sure of Thanksgiving weekend.
Dec. too close to Holiday and snow.

What hours would we do?

I also think the 21st would be better.
