Craft Show Checklist

Found this site on the web with great craft show tips.  I know there were several people who mentioned to me they hadn't done craft shows before, so I thought you might like a handy list to prepare for the upcoming craft shows.

This is a great list, and I think it pretty much covered everything. when I was new to doing shows, I had no clue what could go wrong,so it's hard to prepare when you don't know. if you are only able to do a few things I've learned that rope, bungie cords, and duct tape can help somehow in most "craft show gone wrong" situations. #1 most important is making sure you have weights for your canopy a lot of show don't let you stake into the grass, but bring stakes and a hammer just incase you are in an area that will allow staking. If your canopy blows away your show is over before it starts. if the weather is bad, don't depend on being able to run to the closest Wal-Mart for supplies, most people will be going for the same supplies and they could get sold out quickly. OH the disasters I could tell you about LOL LOL

After the Mt. Charelston show, I learned that I should put everything in plastic bins that close with a lid, so that my items don't get ruined by any foul weather. I also have a tool kit with a lot of the items mentioned in the list. Just keep it packed up and bring along.
