I received a request from Allyson of Greyhound Cross Roads about their event in September called "Beach Bound Hounds". Part of their 4 day event is a silent auction and she is looking for donations. She is an Etsy person also and Greyhound Cross Roads is an adoption/rescue/foster program for greyhounds in North and South Carolina and Georgia. Being an animal lover and having done foster and rescue work myself I know how rewarding (and frustrating) it can be, trying to get people involved. She is having a little difficulty getting donations this year because of the economy so if we, as a team, could help her out that would be wonderful. Your company name and web site will be added to their web site and your info will be included in 500 welcome bags. The donations are also tax deductible. So not only will you be helping animals, you will get your shop out there.

What a wonderful organization, we here at Ametista are huge animal lovers as well. We definitely will donate an item for the auction. So do we just mail it to the address in the posting before that date or is there a deadline date (other than Sept. 23) to get your item to them?
