Promotional Items for Craft Events and Internet Orders

I just found this amazing article about making 2 bookmarks out of a postcard through Vista.  (I can't seem to add more than one link at a time right now - probably me,)
Here is the article:  http://www.redroom.com/blog/ryoma-collia-suzuki/how-get-quality-promotional-bookmarks-just-under-a-penny-or-just-over-a-cen

I just made and ordered postcards and will receive 150 free!  That's 300 bookmarks!  I had to pay for my image upgrade and shipping, but the next time, I won't have to pay for the image.  This is an incredible idea.  You want to give your customers, even those that you sell to over the Internet, something that they will use (you hope), so that your site is always at their finger tips.  I'm going to cut them in half and punch a hole for a ribbon and hand them out at events and when I mail items out.  This is an awesome idea.  Inexpensive way to promote! Check it out!

Vista print is great, but beware of the shipping costs. That's where they get you.

I don't find their shipping costs that high considering what you get in return. You always get it early when you designate the slowest shipment cost.

They do give a lot of "free" stuff except for shipping. I've ordered some stuff for our monthly raffles from them. The postcards I ordered from them for our show I paid fast shipping because I didn't want to take a chance of not getting them in time to give out to everyone. That was my first order to them. Now I know they ship fast regardless.

I had a sign made one time from them and it was pretty reasonable.

I do everything myself when it comes to printing.

I've gotten lots of stuff from Vista Print and think the pries are really good. Freebies are always nice though.

They really are a great resource for us less-than-rich artists. I selected their 21 day shipping and received my order in 7 days.

Great stuff!

I am addicted to Vista- I've been ordering everything through them for about four years now. I get emails about 'free stuff' every week- but I wait until they do 'free priority shipping' for orders over 20-50 dollars and then order a crapload of free things, then pay for additional items- or just doubling up on my freebies and then I get it all shipped for free. You can get a TON of stuff for fifty bucks- I get brochures, cards, postcards, return lables, banners, bags, flyers, stationary etc all for under fifty bucks. Just pay attention to the ads they send out and wait for free shipping if shipping is going to be a problem for you (depending on the size/weight of what you are ordering) If I order small stuff, I pay for shipping- but if I am ordering bigger items, I wait till shipping is free- but I easily get 200-300 dollars worth of stuff for 50 or less.
