This one is only for the "fine artists" not the crafters (read below for more details).  First Friday is celebrating it's 8th anniversary and is looking to display some of Vegas's finest fine artists.  Here's the complete information:

As always, OUTDOOR EXHIBITION SPACES ARE FREE FOR ARTISTS SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 15, 2010

First Friday Las Vegas is hosting its 8^th anniversary event on Friday, October 1^st in the Downtown Las Vegas Arts District on Casino Center Boulevard between Colorado and California Streets and would like to invite local fine artists working in any and all media to show and sell their work in the Outdoor Exhibition Spaces.

The 8^th anniversary event will include an expanded Outdoor Exhibition Spaces program curated by local artist/entertainment writer/First Friday Advisory Board Member Jennifer Henry. 30 shared festival tent spaces will be provided for a single night display/installation. THESE SPACES ARE RESERVED FOR THE DISPLAY OF FINE ARTWORKS ONLY, please do not apply if you intend to show handmade crafts, t-shirts or jewelry as anyone displaying these items will be asked to remove them for the entirety of the event.

READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING: By submitting your information as detailed above you are agreeing to display your artwork in the Outdoor Exhibition Space reserved for you on Friday, October 1^st, 2010 from 4pm until 10pm. You are also agreeing to arrive for check in no later than 4pm, prepare your display ready for public viewing by no later than 5pm, conduct yourself in a professional manner, and leave no trace of your display/installation at the site after 11pm the night of the event. If a selected artist does not fulfill these stated requirements they may be fined up to $100 by First Friday Las Vegas and Whirlygig, Inc. (the non-profit organization responsible for funding each First Friday event) and will not be invited to participate in future First Friday events.
