Holiday Helper
Does anyone know of some resources to find holiday help? I am overwhelmed with orders between two Etsy stores and a handful of other venues (plus the Holiday show at Mt. Charleston). I would really like to get someone to help me with basic sewing (sewing capes is nearly like sewing a pillowcase -- just a little bit more complicated). I wouldn't even know where to look for rates, etc.

You can post in craigslist under the Gigs section, but other than that, the only thing I can think of is to go through a temp service or put signs up at schools or the library.
Go to CSN's campuses and post on the bulletin boards in the student centers. I would pay a little more than minimum wages.College students are always looking for ways to earn extra money.
I am looking to pay per item, not per hour. That way if someone work fast they make more and if I get someone lazy or with skills that aren't up to par, I don't suffer.
