No, that's certainly not the case. There were probably about 4,000 people who showed up over the course of the weekend (very optimistic guesstimate) but they had expected well over 10,000. Of course, most of these people didn't go through the vendor area because of the poor traffic flow inside the event.
Yes, I would definitely say there was more than 100, especially the last day. Yes, the vendor area did get the shaft ... most people that walked by my tent said they spent all their money on the food and rides...until the last day...then I did all my sales in about 1 1/2 hours a rush of sorts.
Well. that's good to know. I couldn't imagine that few showing up.I was told that by a secretary who didn't attend the event, so it was something she heard. I would have to say, though, that most people who did go probably did go for the rides and not to buy crafts.
that has been my experience with events like this, if there are things to spend money on for kids, that's usually where the money goes the food also always wins out over crafts LOL
