Advertising Going Well!!!!

We are still hard at work for the July 9th show. Lately, we have been focusing all of our attention to advertising.
We have an ad going out in the Los Prados monthly newsletter, which will come out at the first of July and go out to approx. 1,300 homes. We also have advertisements in both the Centennial View and Summerlin View, which will come out on July 5th and go out to approx. 130,000 homes.
At this time we are having 2000 flyers printed, that we will pass out to all of our vendors, friends, family, and all around the valley. Also we are working with Ed Bozarth Chevrolet to advertise on their sign that looks over the US 95 and Ann Road. Finally if all goes as planned we will be on My LVTV in the community announcements.

A Few Moments of panic about the Mt. Charleston Show

I wanted to share this with you. The events coordinator was not answering my e-mails. so I went to the hotel to see her in person (I just talked to her a month ago). She had quit!!! Not only that, but there was a new events coordinator and a new general manager!!! And neither one of them knew anything about our show!!! They couldn't meet with me to discuss it until 2pm, so needless to say, I was in complete panic mode until then!!! I've already ordered expensive BIG signs and flyers, etc. To cut to the chase, fortunately, there was a calendar with Art Fair on it, but no other information. Because it was on there, nothing else had been scheduled. There was no contact information for them to get hold of me, so I guess it's a good thing I went in there. The show is on, and they were very nice about it. On the plus side, they both seem to be more "together" than the previous people. They don't know if there will be entertainment yet, but they are looking into it. Also, they are probably going to set up an outside grill and sell hot dogs and hamburgers, etc. As long as the weather holds out, we should have a great time.

Invitation for the Handmade in Vegas Team

Hi there!

My name is Carolina and I'm the Special Events Coordinator at Quiltique (and a crafter, and big Etsy fan).

Etsy is having a worldwide craft party next week, and we're super-excited to be one of the party locations {YAY}! I would LOVE to invite the Vegas Etsy community to come down for this FREE event, have some treats, make some crafts, and have an awesome time!

Would you pass this invitation on to your Vegas Etsy group?

You can view the Meetup here:
