Bonnie Springs Chili Cook Off Vendor Opp

Dear Friends and community partners:

Bonnie Springs Zoo and Community Cat Coalition of Clark County (C5) are pleased to be co-hosting an ISC sanctioned Chili Cook Off at the Bonnie Springs Ranch.

The Bonnie Springs Zoo's mission is to shelter and nurture adopted or abandoned animals while encouraging visitors to be educated and to experience these animals in a natural setting. The Zoo depends on financial support from the public for the care and maintenance of the animals as well as educational programs.

C5 is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to serving our community by reducing the population of homeless, abandoned and feral cats. Volunteers accomplish this goal through humane Trap, Neuter, and Return (TNR) programs, management of outdoor colonies, and educational out- reach.

Please do not miss the opportunity to participate in this event and support the animals at Bonnie Springs Zoo and the feral and stray cats in Clark County.

Ways you can help:

  • Purchase a booth to display and sell your products or services
  • Donate items for the raffle
  • Donate funds to support the event

If you have any further questions about the Chili Cook Off, please contact Event Coordinator Debbie Williams atdwilliams@c5-tnr.org or by phone at 702-9

Attached is the vendor application and legal disclosures.  All applications must be received by August 30, 2011.

Thank you

Debbie Wheeler-Williams
C5 Event Coordinator

This looks like it could be a ton of fun and they have just reduced the vendor fee from $200 to $50.  Here's the vendor application:  https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment?ui=2&ik=e62f6a5966&view=att&th=1302dc0be03f4476&attid=0.1&disp=inline&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P9Ee3qAqlrGmOt9fLqTpQFd&sadet=1306440106089&sads=1w6a2AgTW43FirimfWsvujKHNbE&sadssc=1

FRESH 52 AT TIVOLI

FRESH 52 AT TIVOLI

Hi Kathy....So...I am thinking....I want to do a booth at Tivoli with Handmade in Vegas...I will have all items from Handmade in Vegas Crafters on Etsy...Idea...They give me items to sell..kind of like a store....I sell them and they give me 10% I am just throwing this out there, because I really want Handmade in Vegas promoted. I can only have a couple items at a time from each, and we can create an inventory... I am very trustworthy, but can not be responsible for these items, in case some super sly person comes in and steals...Or something crazy like that. I can even have a person from each shop there every week to help with the booth. I pay all the fees, insurance, etc..... I am open to ideas on how to work this....Each person will also have to provide a way to display, unless it is a table, etc.... I am open to any idea on how to make this work. I will have at both markets. Sara has handmade in Vegas banners, and we can create a shop at the event. If it gets big, I will do 2 tents, but will require help from the vendors each week to set up..

We would have to create inventory sheets each week to check in, check out...Know what I mean? It would be really cool to see who sells what! Each item would have to be approved...

Carrie sent me this message for Fresh 52--------if any of you are interested in doing this please contact her at 481-6558.

This would be like having a consignment store.

You can also have 2 people share a tent. Which is 40.00 a month

Event Calendar for Vendor Opportunities

I've created a facebook page specifically to list arts and crafts events in the Las Vegas area. This way vendors and shoppers can click "attend" and it will be added to their facebook calendar.  Their friends will see it and if they click "attend" or "maybe" it will spread to their friends. Hopefully this will garner more advertising for our events.   The way the page is set up, only an admin can add an event, so we don't get random junk posted to the listings. I won't be updating the calendar on the blog anymore - this should replace that.  Hopefully we will also be able to post vendor applications as well.  Right now, Sarah  Benac Flake and I are admins.  I'm working on getting the First Friday and Fresh52 events posted. You can email me at happybugdesigns@cox.net if you have something you want added.

If anyone is interested in taking over keeping the excel spreadsheet calendar updated on the blog please contact Sarah Flake or myself.  Thanks!
