Just wanted to give a quick up date on the First Friday Handmade in Vegas project:

I just closed a deal to move the group off of the city sidewalks--YAY--and into the lot next to Artifice Bar. I will be posting photos later this evening. But basically, Artifice is across the street from the Art's Factory. Our location is out of the way from the crazy parking that takes place down there but is right in the heart of everything. There is room for at least 30-40 vendors with TENTs. The best part is that Artifice will be promoting the Handmade in Vegas Group as their contribution to First Friday. The lot needs a little clean up--just mostly debris that's blown in there. There is substantial lighting from the top wall of the bar but I will talk to them about an additional charge to let us 'plug in' for power purposes.

This will be ongoing for as long as we want to use it and provided we don't abuse our welcome. So I need some volunteers to help do some clean up and if you've been trying to decide if you want to be a vendor--you'll need to do that pretty quickly as I will soon be opening it up to artists outside of the group".
